Drama
We believe that Drama makes a major contribution to the all-round development of our pupils. It offers a means of self-expression and acts as a vehicle for the development of skills such as the ability to address an audience and to improvise under pressure.
Drama is part of the English department’s curriculum.
At least three major productions are staged each year, involving a large number of pupils, and there are many smaller presentations. As those who have formed audiences will readily attest, the standard of performance reached by the children is impressive, and these productions reflect one of the benefits of co-education.
