Welcome from the Headmaster
Welcome to St Andrew’s, a thriving co-educational independent Prep School for boys and girls aged 3 to 13, set in 54 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside. I do hope that you will come and visit us soon.
Girls' and boys' sports are both thriving at St Andrew’s. The school enjoys county success in cricket, football and rugby as well as national success in athletics, hockey, orienteering and swimming. There are opportunities for all, thanks to our fantastic facilities: our brand new Sports Centre, indoor heated swimming pool, climbing wall ...
Performing arts and drama are at the heart of school life, and key in developing confidence and creativity in our pupils. Public speaking, poetry recitals, debates, LAMDA, drama and school productions. We nurture your child’s talents and provide opportunities for them to develop.
Work hard and play hard! Children should be children and at breaks pupils can be seen whizzing down zip wires, building dens in the woods and having fun on the South Lawn. We are also proud of our outdoor learning and forest school and try to enjoy the great outdoors as often as possible, whatever the weather!
The St Andrew’s Music Department is supported by a vast array of visiting teachers. From bagpipes to bassoon, there is something for everyone: individual music and singing lessons, choirs, ensembles, big bands and orchestras. There are plenty of musical opportunities for your child at St Andrew’s.
